Continuously improving methodologies and tools for mathematics teaching is essential to the development of better education. That’s why we will continue the STACK conferences series. You are invited to be a part of conversation, either face-to-face or virtually. The working language of the conference is English.

Exciting Days

The Aim

The meeting is where academics in the STACK field come together to share their findings, present their projects, educate others, and gain valuable perspectives and feedback on their own work. The conference will contain a mix of research talks, practical sessions for new and experienced users, and opportunities to meet other users.
What STACK does and why to use it?

Keynote speaker

Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Weigand

University of Wuerzburg

Since many years, he is interested in the use of digital technologies in mathematics education and in teacher education. He wrote books about Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and Computers in Mathematics Education. He contributed to many international conferences like ICME, PME, EARCOME or ICTMT. He was the chair of the technology- group of CERME and he is still the chair of the conference series “Mathematics Education in the Digital Age”. He worked at the universities of Oldenburg, Gießen and, since the year 2000, at the University of Würzburg. At the moment he gives lectures at the University of Augsburg.
